Why houses get soft washed, not pressure washed
In Louisiana's humidity, the north and shaded sides of a house pick up a film of mildew, algae, and pollen. High pressure can strip paint, gouge older wood, and force water behind siding and into brick. So the exterior of a home is soft washed instead. A cleaning solution does the work, and a low-pressure rinse carries it away.
It's the same reasoning as cleaning a roof without a pressure washer. The method follows the surface.

- Vinyl, fiber-cement, and painted wood siding, brick, stucco, soffits, gutters' exteriors, and columns. We adjust the approach for painted and older surfaces.
- We pre-wet and rinse landscaping around the work area, the same way we do for roof cleaning.
- Most houses are a half-day or less, and you do not need to be home as long as we have access to water and the exterior. We'll confirm when scheduling.
